Creating a Help Desk Ticket

This guide explains how to create a support ticket in our help desk system.

Creating a New Ticket

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Log into the help desk system
    • Use your network credentials

  • Create a new ticket
    • To create a ticket, click the head icon at the top right corner of the webpage. A dropdown menu will appear with a list of commands. Select "Create ticket" from the list.



  • Fill in the ticket details 
    • Subject: Brief description of the issue
    • Email
    • Description: Detailed explanation of the issue
    • Your Name 
  • Add attachments (if needed)
    • You can send up to 2 MB in attachments. If you have more than one attachment, they can't add up to more than 8 MB and 20 attachments in total.
  • Submit the ticket

Tips for Effective Tickets

  • Be specific about the issue
  • Include relevant screenshots
  • Mention any troubleshooting steps already taken
  • Provide contact information if different from default

What Happens Next

  • You'll receive a confirmation email
  • A support agent will be assigned to your ticket
  • Updates will be sent via email
